“Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.” Mark 9:24

These words reflect the reality of faith for most of us. We believe, but we continue to struggle with questions and doubts. Much about the Christian faith is comforting, helpful, and hopeful. But sometimes it can also be perplexing and confusing.

This blog is home to Adam Hamilton, senior pastor of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, where he preaches to more than 8,000 per week. Adam writes and teaches on life’s tough questions, the doubts with which we all wrestle, and the challenging issues we face today. He explores the “gray” areas that present themselves when the Bible’s teachings and life experiences cross paths.

Adam also has a passion for helping Christians grow in their faith, understanding of the Bible, and Christian living. He is also known for his way of helping those striving to be Christians to see the implications of the Christian gospel for daily life. He has authored 13 books and several small group studies on topics as diverse as forgiveness, simple living, love and marriage, morality, politics, God’s will, and world religions. Adam’s writings also faithfully confront difficult topics like homosexuality, faith and science, separation of church and state, and abortion.

This blog will include excerpts from his writings, links to resources and sermons, and original articles about a wide variety of topics, often responses to questions he’s been asked. We hope this blog will be a blessing to all who read it.
